“Beginners Plein Air Painting” with Paulo Jimenez

These are on-going classes. Have you always wanted to learn how to paint but weren’t sure where to start? Come and learn the ‘secrets’ of painting in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Lessons are structured with theory, mixed in with lots of practice time and fun! You will be amazed at how easy it is to learn how to Paint. The goal of these classes is to encourage your unique creative style while learning various techniques and compositional tools.  These lessons are for beginners with some experience and for intermediates who want reach the next level. All mediums welcome.

“Acrylic Painting: Concepts and Techniques” with David Fithian

This class is designed for the novice or more advanced artist interested in either abstract or realistic ideas using acrylic paints and mediums.  There will be an emphasis on composition, design, color and experimentation.  Students can continue working on paintings they may have already started or begin a new series of related works.  Various materials and techniques specifically related to acrylics will be covered along with demonstrations and ongoing critiques of paintings in progress.

“Printmaking Techniques” with Mary Wentzel

This is a 3-week series of classes.

Those who attend the Printmaking workshop will have an opportunity to immerse themselves in the process of designing and the lino cutting of a plate, creating a series of art prints. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced printmaker, get inspired by working along with other artists, in this 3 day workshop. All materials will be provided in this workshop.

All levels are welcome.

“Painting Intensive: All Subject Matter” with Patricia A. Domanski

This is a 4-week series of classes. The objective of this course is to provide you with guidance as you work on your own personal paintings – all subject matter is welcome. Do you need help simplifying your subject matter, identifying values, selecting color harmonies, interpreting your own original photos?

“Impressionism In Oils” with Amelie Rogers

This is a 4-week series of classes. Students will learn how value, color, shapes, and edges combine to create soft classical works, how to create atmospheric perspectives, and will progress from painting things to painting visual concepts.

Wednesday 5:00pm-8:00pm

“Paint Dynamic Images in Oil” with Weldon Ryan

This is a 4-week series of classes. Do you want a better understanding about painting realistic portraits. Let me teach you how. We will work in oils to develop a technique that works for you based on my general painting technique. We will work on understanding fundamentals such as colors based on Value, Hue and Chroma which are essential to paint realistically. I will help you develop an understanding of how color works regarding portraits.

“Pastel Painting” with International Award Winning Artist Jonathan Knight

“The students in this class will learn the art of painting as it pertains to the magic and beauty of soft pastels and a mixture thereof.”

“Life Drawing and Painting” with Mike Lynch

These are on-going sessions.

Bring your supplies and draw and or paint from a live model. Drawing easels and benches provided.

Instruction available upon request.

“Painting and Mixed Media” with Sharon DePauw

These are on-going sessions.

Lots of techniques, exploring new ideas and methods of painting and mixed media. Make art, make friends, we do what we love and it shows in our work. Add your special views in the art you create. Supplies are included.

“Drawing Fundamentals” with Mike Lynch

This is a 4-week series of classes. Learn the creative use of line, tone, shape, texture, motifs, perspective, and 3D forms to produce strong, compelling drawings.  Surprise yourself as you learn to create more expressive and well structured art.  Fun and insightful exercises will help expand creativity and drawing ability. All skill Levels welcome.

“Beginning to Intermediate Watercolor” with Elaine Vice

These are on-going classes. This class will awaken your creativity with a variety of techniques which emphasizes color theory, composition, and drawing. Beginners through intermediate students welcome.

6-Week Beginner Photography Course with Rafael Torres

This is a 6-week series of classes. Students will learn the basics of photography, lighting, use of equipment and will participate in a hands-on series of classroom exercises.

8-Week Intermediate Photography Course with Rafael Torres

This is a 8-week series of classes. This course is designed to complement the Beginners class and help students to further improve their camera skills by participating in 3 classroom sessions and 5 field trips to various Central Florida locations.
