Join a vibrant community of artists who share a passion for oil painting in a collaborative and inspiring environment. This group is designed for those looking to refine their skills, learn from fellow painters, and share their creative journey.
Members meet weekly or monthly to bring their current projects, exchange techniques, and discuss challenges in their work. The group also hosts workshops focused on specific techniques, invites guest artists to demonstrate their methods, and organizes group painting sessions, including opportunities to work with live models.
In addition, members have the chance to participate in exhibitions, showcasing their artwork to a broader audience while celebrating the collective talent of the group. Whether you're perfecting your craft or seeking fresh inspiration, this is the ideal space to grow and thrive as an artist.

This is a new group limited to 12 dedicated artists who will meet the third Thursday of each month from 1-4 PM beginning February 20, 2025. If you have an interest in joining this creative gathering, please take a moment to fill out a registration form.
Weldon Ryan (b. 1962) was born in The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, W.I. Graduate of the H.S. of Art and Design 1981, Attended the State University at New Paltz, 1981to 82, Graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology 1984, A.A. In General Illustration. Interned at Quarto Book Publishing1985-1986 and Comp artist for Ad Agencies. 1987 to 1989 NYC Urban Park Ranger. In 1989 worked for NYPD as a Police Officer and Forensic Artist Unit in 1994. Weldon retired from NYPD in 2004 and resides in Palm Coast, Florida. He is a former president of the Flagler Art League and a member of The Art League of Daytona Beach. He works in oils and creates in the realism genre of painting.
