“Painting Techniques”

This is a 3-week class series

Dates: Friday’s - Nov. 8th, 15th, and 22nd, 2024

Time: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (Studio B)

Tuition Fee for 3 weeks with Credit Card:     $62.00 members - $78.00 non-members

Tuition Fee for 3 weeks with Check/Cash:    $60.00 members - $75.00 non-members

Classes are limited to 8 students.

If you prefer to pay by check, please make check payable to Art League of Daytona Beach and mail to 433 S. Palmetto Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL 32114 along with a completed registration form or you may drop off at the Art League during our gallery hours. For registration form click HERE.

Payment in full is required before the first class.

Registration ends the day before first class in the series.

Cancellations must be made at least one week before the first day of class in order to receive a refund.

Class Description:

Explore and discover your own style, grow as an artist with weekly tips, techniques and demonstrations. Anyone can learn fun and easy methods to produce colorful paintings or master mixed media approaches to art. Each week we will discover and gain valuable insight on how to create the art to be proud of.

Weekly, projects, demos and handouts, personal inspiration and knowledge

Cutting Matt’s

Cutting tools

Glue, Matte medium, specialty paints

Palatte pads

Mixed media paper for painting

Beginners paint brushes

Traditional palette -paints, red, yellow, blue, black and white

Carbon paper and vellum

Student optional items to bring. 

      Any favorite colors of acrylic paints you have on hand and desire to use. Paint clothing or an apron. Color copies of subjects you would like to paint if desired.
