“Color Theory II and Mixed Media”

This is a 3-week class series

Dates: Friday’s - Oct. 4th, 11th, and 18th, 2024

Time: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (Studio B)

Tuition Fee for 3 weeks with Credit Card:     $78.00 members - $93.00 non-members

Tuition Fee for 3 weeks with Check/Cash:    $75.00 members - $90.00 non-members

Classes are limited to 15 students.

If you prefer to pay by check, please make check payable to Art League of Daytona Beach and mail to 433 S. Palmetto Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL 32114 along with a completed registration form or you may drop off at the Art League during our gallery hours. For registration form click HERE.

Payment in full is required before the first class.

Registration ends the day before first class in the series.

Cancellations must be made at least one week before the first day of class in order to receive a refund.

Class Description:

The mood or story you wish to convey in your art will determine which type of colors will be needed.

You will design and choose a unique set of colors pleasing to you. What types of colors would you like to explore?

Please text instructor with the type of medium you prefer to work in. Watercolors, acrylics, inks or pastels are all welcomed, oils upon approval of the teacher.

All supplies will be provided for the first class, and depending on your selections, and personal projects for the following 2 weeks, you may wish to get one or more speciality colors, (It is not a requirement).

For many years I have entered shows, won numerous awards for painting, sculpture, and mixed media, most recent- Jan 2024 Daytona 2nd place.

Member: Daytona Art League, The Hub on Canal Street, and Artist Workshop.

I believe in supporting our local communities, art teachers, and students with fresh ideas, and valuable information. That is why I regularly take a variety of local classes! 

As a teacher, I enjoy sharing and encouraging all my students. It so important to fully appreciate every artist/student’s work as unique expressions of the gift they are here to share.
